The park will be CLOSED from May 3 to May 13 due to flooding, road closures and more impending rain. We will schedule to open the park the following weekend for May 17-18-19, pending any further flooding issues. Thanks for your indulgence.
THE SPRING AAT WORK DAY IS RESCHEDULED TO JUNE 8TH DUE TO FLOODING. PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE ON YOUR CALENDARS.
Our AAT groups take a day to show pride in their park and help out with some trail maintenance.
June 8th and Sept 7th Trail Adopters help with trail maintenance today. Come out and meet your fellow off-roaders for a day of trail maintenance and wheeling. You will meet members of off-road clubs from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska during this giving back event!
Sign in at registration booth from 8:00 -9:30 a.m. Trail maintenance starts at 8:30 a.m.
We will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for Memorial Day Weekend Tent and RV camping available.

Off Roading 101 Pre-Registration Course – $65 Per Vehicle.

About the Course:
If you are new to the sport of off-roading or even if you have been in it awhile and want to learn more about how to wheel, this is the course for you!
In this course you will learn:
Proper preparation and driving techniques over various terrain
Basic equipment & safety
How to Spot effectively
How to protect the environment
About your vehicle
Political impact on the sport
Agenda for the 101 course:
We will have a class room type session to cover several topics and a Q&A for the first half of the day.
We will break for lunch. (Bring your own lunch.)
We will head for the trails with guides to learn hands on.
What you will get in the 101 course:
Entry into the park for the day.
A guide book for off-roading.
This class will be restricted to the first 50 entries in order to be able to give quality instruction to the students.
The Midwest Krawlers Sunflower Trail Ride is a special time where once a year, women from all backgrounds come together to enjoy a day of learning and adventure in a supportive and encouraging environment. Many leave the event with a feeling of confidence and empowerment from what they accomplished. . While geared toward the ladies, all are welcome.
In addition to a great weekend of getting out on the trails, the event features a great BBQ lunch, a fantastic raffle and many vendors will be on hand so you can ask questions about products and get advice on outfitting your rig. The Metalcloak CTI trailer will be on hand as well (limited spots available).
The 7th annual ride set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 16-17-18 2024 at Kansas Rocks Recreation Park. It is a great weekend of meeting and bonding with like minded women, empowering each other through new challenges and exploration. Come spend the weekend out on the trails building your skills as a driver and confidence in yourself.
The park will be CLOSED for this event. MWK will allow a set number of PRE-REGISTERED participants to this event. IF the number isn't reached, they will allow day of registration at $75 per rig with no goodies.

Saturday, Oct 19, gates open at 8:00am
Open wheeling all day Saturday and Saturday night until 11:30pm
8:00 - 6:00 Haunted novelties in the park – turn in at office for your prize (decals, shirts, hats, bags, ANNUAL PASS, & and more)
11:00 - 3:00 Bounce House - relax our bounce around for a while
11:30 - 2:30 Climbing Wall – take a break from rock crawling & and try rock climbing
4:00 Kids Costume Showcase–all participants will receive a trunk or treat bag
Decorated Rig Contest-winner will receive a 2025 Annual Pass
Adult costume contest-winner will receive a 2025 Annual Pass
Family/Group costume contest-winner will receive a 2025 Annual Pass
4:30 - 5:00 Trunk-or-Treat (bring goodies to share) immediately following contests
5:00 Supper (Chicken Annies, 2 pc chicken, scallop potatoes beans water.)
6:30 - 7:30 Kid friendly (non-scary) haunted trail drive through South 40 area, goodies along the way!
7:30 - 10:00 Haunted trail ride in South 40 area (Trails closes at 11:30)
Bring marshmallows for the bonfire after the haunted trail, weather permitting.

Kanrocks Park will be open to regular business on Sunday after the Creepy Crawl Event.
In celebration of Veteran's Day (Nov 11) we will open the park up Friday at 1pm, Saturday and Sunday Nov 8th, 9th & 10th to all military personnel, active or veteran, and first responders at no charge, with ID card.
We would like to honor our hero's who have put their lives on the line to afford us the liberties and freedoms we have. The park will be open to the public, as well, at usual park fees. Hooah!
We will be open starting at 8:00 a.m. Friday the day after Thanksgiving and be open all weekend with tent and RV camping available. Please reserve on our website.
