The date we have all been waiting for…May 20! Please join us as we head down a new path with our Grand Opening of our park addition of 160 acres. Please mark your calendars and attend this special day with us. It will be a day full of fun and excitement. We will start the day with coffee, cider and donuts, followed by a short opening ceremony with a few special guests, a ribbon cutting and a day full of new exploration and wheeling on what is now a 380 acre park. The gates will open at 8am, our ceremony will begin at 9:30 and all trails will open immediately following. We will keep the park open 2 hours later closing at 9pm. Free camping will be available Saturday night. KTWU TV will be there filming that day to feature the park on a segment for the Sunflower Journeys series. Park sponsors will also be there in support and answer any questions for you. There is no pre-registration. It is the daily fee paid at the gate when you check in. Please share this information with your fellow off-roaders. See you there!!!View More
KANROCKS work day IS POSTPONED TO MAY 6TH, NEXT SATURDAY!!! Our final push to finish up includes rocking and diverting spring water from 4 trail sections. We need these areas to be relatively dry to work in. Please put this date on your schedule to help finish up our new trail sections. We will need shovels, 3-4 skid loaders, chains and straps. Please bring your own lunch. The park will provide water. Check in will be from 8:00 to 8:30 at the pavilion. Please email me at email@example.com if you will be able to make it and what you will be bringing. Since we are needing skid loaders, please let me know ASAP if you can bring one down. See you there. If the weather does not permit us to work, I will post it up on facebook and the website. Thanks for all your help.View More

Our Adopt-A-Trail program allows clubs and organizations to be part of the park’s success. They come in and adopt a trail section and maintain that section twice a year…once in the spring and once in the fall. The park allows these groups free entry on AAT days as they give it a half day or so of concentrated maintenance effort before going off to play and enjoy the rest of the day. The park provides cookies, soda and water for the workers. It is a great way for clubs to have a hand in the success of this park and have pride in what the park offers. Check in is from 8:00-9:00.
Spring AAT is May 6th and The Fall AAT is September 9th.
Spring 101 class (April 22nd ) this year. 9:30 am-4:30 pm Rather you’re new at the sport or need a refresher, our Off Road 101 course is a great way to learn the RIGHT way to wheel. It offers information about four wheel drive systems, how to be prepared, and what to do on the trail. We also cover such topics as vehicle modifications, trail etiquette, recovery techniques, as well as Tread Lightly philosophy and the political front of this sport. We spend a couple of hours in a classroom setting then go to the trails with expert guides to show you what to do and how to get the most out of fun family four wheeling.
This course has a limited number of entries. Sorry…no refunds and no rain checks.
This course is FULL. Watch for registration for the summer class.
