New Interactive Park Map

We finally have our new and super improved interactive map done just in time for you to head to the park for the annual Frostbite event!

This new map, available through CartoTracks, is a whole ‘nother kind of map – designed to work on a mobile device with a magic blue dot showing your location on the map using GPS instead of cell signal! Check it out NOW!!

Wheelin’ 4 Toys

It is that time of year! The 16th annual Wheelin’ 4 Toys trail ride/toy drive will be held on December 10th at Kansas Rocks Recreation Park. NEW! You can now Pre-Register at KSrockspark.com. You can pre-register for the event, shirts and guided trail rides. BUT REMEMBER TO BRING A TOY TO THE EVENT. Better hurry, registration will close November 27th at 6:00 p.m.. You can also just come on December 10th. By bringing a new unwrapped toy donation, you will be able to get into the park for half price ($10), get a free event decal, and receive one drawing ticket to enter into one of the many boxes for all the prizes donated by our sponsors. You may also purchase additional drawing tickets for $1 each donation.

Don’t forget the FREE breakfast! #579 Elks members will be on hand at 8AM to serve a free breakfast for all the participants while it lasts. They will also be selling hot lunches from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Drawing will be held at 1:00 p.m. Can’t mak.e the event but still want to donate a toy? Stomper Off-road has volunteered their business as the official Wheelin’ 4 Toys drop off point in Olathe. Also KOMB/KMDO 103.9 Radio Station in Ft. Scott.

Offering guided trail rides again this year. Drivers meeting at 9:00 a.m., trail rides to begin at 9:30.

2017 Annuals Now Available

Our 2017 Annual Passes are now available online and at the park office. This year you will receive all camping and night runs free with your annual pass. Annual Passes are $70 and Daily Passes are $20 per vehicle.

Ultimate Adventure Stories

We would like to thank the staff at Petersen’s 4 Wheel and Off-Road, Rick Pewe and the rest of the Ultimate Adventure group for choosing Kansas Rocks as their first stop on the 2011 UA tour. It was a great time with a great group.
