Off-Road 101 Course

April 26th & September 6th 9:30 a.m. Rather you’re new at the sport or need a refresher, our Jeep 101 course is a great way to learn the RIGHT way to wheel. It offers information about four wheel drive systems, how to be prepared, and what to do on the trail. We also cover such topics as vehicle modifications, trail etiquette, recovery techniques, as well as Tread Lightly philosophy and the political front of this sport. We spend a couple of hours in a classroom situation then go to the trails with expert guides to show you what to do and how to get the most out of fun family four wheeling.
Registration is closed. The Spring Class is now full.

Adopt-A-Trail work day

Our Adopt-A-Trail program allows clubs and organizations to be part of the park’s success. They come in and adopt a trail section and maintain that section twice a year…once in the spring and once in the fall. The park allows these groups free entry on AAT days as they give it a half day or so of concentrated maintenance effort before going off to play and enjoy the rest of the day. The park provides cookies, soda and water for the workers. It is a great way for clubs to have a hand in the success of this park and have pride in what the park offers. Check in is from 8:00-9:30.
This years Adopt-a-Trail Programs are May 3rd, and September 20th, 2014.
