Sunflower Trail Ride, hosted by the Midwest Krawlers, is an off-road event focused on celebrating women on the trails.

Are you thinking about attending Sunflower 2022? Are you new to off-roading and want to get a little bit of experience before the event in a small group environment?  If so, Kansas Rocks is offering an Introduction to Off Roading class that is designed to give you important information as well as instruction.  The class will cover four-wheel drive systems and operation, how to prepare your vehicle to hit the trails and the proper way to navigate the trails and obstacles.   It also covers such topics as vehicle modifications, trail etiquette and recovery techniques. Registration is per vehicle or driver (1 vehicle & 1 driver = 1 registration, 1 vehicle & 2 drivers = 2 registrations), this is to ensure adequate instruction for each individual.

The trail portion of the class will be guided by very experienced people and give you an opportunity to apply what you learned in the classroom portion.  Participants will be grouped by the experience they expect. If that is the main loop with a dirt road type of experience. Or you want a bit of challenge or a major challenge. It will be your choice.

Camping will be available the night before and it is a great opportunity meet and socialize with others. Please reserve and pay for your camping or RV spot through K-Rocks website.
